Pat Washburn Interview

Men can get breast cancer, too

This is an interview with Pat Washburn, a quite energetic lady who unfortunately lost her husband Marlyn to male breast cancer a few years ago. Pat and Marlyn knew nothing about this kind of cancer before his diagnosis. Most of us guys don’t.

But, like other cancers, it is a killer. Fewer than 3,000 men in the U.S. are diagnosed with it each year, but it apparently lurks in a lot of us. Significantly, many fire fighters in New York City were affected after 9/11.

Pat is a woman of uplifting faith and apparently endless energy. Listen to her story.
